Whatever it takes, You have the power!

A guest comment received at AC St Louis Park…
I am writing you to compliment your staff at the AC Marriott Minneapolis West End. Chad Pemberton was the first person I met when I checked in a little late and just mumbled that I was starving from the trip. He mentioned the AC Lounge, but also mentioned several close restaurants. He gave me a coupon for CRAVE. That doesn’t sound like much, but the coupon actually helped me stay below my per diem, which is always appreciated. The next morning, I realized I forgot socks as well as a phone charger. I am a road warrior, but about every three years I forget my brain. Kelsea Lien was nice enough to lend me a charger so I could be at full capacity for the day. I also came back to the hotel after a long day of meetings to find a pair of socks with a note saying, “These are some socks from a restaurant in the West End called Punch Bowl Social. I’m not sure if they are exactly what you’re looking for, but they’re great Halloween colors!” It is a surprisingly great example of customer service. Let’s talk breakfast. I love Allison Laine! She is so warm and friendly. What a great addition to your staff. She always checks in, and by the second morning she was making my coffee the way I like it. Who does that? All this is to say that I don’t think I have any reason to stay at any other hotel in Minneapolis. Your staff is great, your hotel is clean, and I couldn’t have had a better experience.

My name is Stephen Fuller, and I am getting in contact with you to tell you about an employee at the Best Western in Shoreview. Her name is Deb Curwick, and she has to be one of the best hotel staff I have ever had the pleasure to have interactions with. I am a military vet with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and have a very hard time adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings. Deb was able to pick up on this, and through simple conversations, she was able to help me relax and really enjoy my stay at this hotel. There is no amount of praise that I can show for the staff of this facility, and I feel they need to be recognized for the outstanding abilities and compassion they show towards every guest there.

A guest comment received at Courtyard Rochester…
I stay at the Rochester Courtyard fairly frequently with the Epic group. At about 8pm tonight I arrived at the Courtyard and before I could say anything, Ashley Lahti informed me that my stay was tomorrow night, not tonight. I was impressed that she knew. Before I could think of Plan B, she and Dan Knoke were calling other hotels. They reserved a stay for me next door almost immediately. Incredible! They’re sharp, they’re kind, and they always make me feel comfortable at your hotel. In a word, they are impressive. I hope you recognize what a wonderful staff you have at your front desk.

The reason for my note is to tell you how wonderful Patti Greseth is. She was at the front desk all three days of our stay. She is cheerful, outgoing and helpful with everything possible. She made van reservations, refilled coffee, saw to our dinner needs, checked each morning to see if there were any needs unmet, and was, in general, wonderful. Her skills in customer relations are outstanding. Patty made our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn one to remember. I will gladly recommend your hotel.

A guest comment received at Hampton Inn Minnetonka…
I wanted to email you and let know that you have a great person working in the Hampton Inn Roseville. I’m not a person who likes to travel, or like the process of checking in because of my past experiences in other hotels. I came in on Monday night with a flight delayed and rental issues. I was worried about my hotel arrangements. I called before I got to the hotel and Bill Baldwin answered the call and gave me the peace of mind that my stay at the hotel is paid for and they’re waiting for me to come in, but with a warm welcome! I work in customer service also, and I’m glad to know that there are still people who give great customer service. Since day one to this day, Bill has made sure that I’m doing great and checking to see how my day is going or if I need to place an order for food, since I didn’t have a car and I’m from Indiana. Honestly, words can’t explain how awesome Bill was with everything. I normally don’t give feed back, but I do for Bill! Thank you for everything, Bill. I’ll definitely tell everyone that Hampton Inn Minnetonka has a great employee!

I want to let you know how awesome your staff is, especially Angie Hunter. My husband and I stayed there recently and I spoke with Angie before we left for the day. I had mentioned that it was my birthday. When we arrived back at the hotel that night, to my utmost surprise, there was a big “Happy Birthday” sign on our door and balloons. I was so surprised I cried. Angie went above and beyond. She made my day! Angie is a keeper and a gem. Her love and kindness for a person she just met is a quality that not many people have. Please share this with her and know that this company is truly blessed to have an employee that shares her heart with others. I will be sure to pass on the kindness that she showed me to others She is truly an exemplary employee. Angie rocks! I would also like you to pass on a huge thank you to the breakfast staff. Both ladies have been friendly, kind, hardworking and made our stay marvelous, wonderful and incredible!
